Fuksispexis 2025,

The whole Otaniemi is invited to watch the mind-blowing performances of our beloved fuksis at Dipoli on Tuesday 29.4.

Doors open at 14.30 and performances

start at 15.00

During the Fuksispexis, teams of fuksis will perform spectacles entirely of their own devising as part of the 2025 Fukspeijaiset! So come along with a good vibe and a few imaginative Omstart shouts. However, you cannot bring any of your own drinks to Dipoli.

If you can’t make it to Dipoli, you can settle down on your home sofa or to your guild room to watch the OUBS stream on YouTube.

After the spexis, the day’s activities continue at Alvari Square with the kickoff of the Yöjäynä and Tour de Walpuri, at 20:00, sending the teams off for the traditional night-time battles.

What better way to dive back into Wappu vibes after the spring break than with Wappuferry on 24.4.⛴️ The Guild of Physics is organizing a partyferry that is open for everyone! Hop aboard and enjoy beautiful sea views, great company, and, most importantly, the Wappu atmosphere!

The ferry sets sail at 16:30 from New Port Kalanokka pier in Keilaniemi, cruising along the shores of Espoo and Helsinki. After the ride, the party continues at Sievo Sauna in Jätkäsaari, where you can chill and enjoy the hot sauna!🔥 So don’t forget your sauna gear!

You’re welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks on the ferry. Rumor has it there might even be some refreshments onboard…🫣

Tour de Walpuri 29.4.

The free checkpoint crawl Tour de Walpuri arrives to inspire and unite the whole Otaniemi community on the Eve of Wappu Eve! 🥳🥂 The crawl starts from Alvari Square at 20.00, and lasts until midnight. 🌺

The winners of Tour de Walpuri are announced the next day at the Declaration of Wappu Rowdiness – the best team from both the participants and the checkpoint organizers will be awarded! 🤩

Welcome to Wiinaton Wappu, a non-alcoholic wappu party, on 30.4. at 8 PM at Smökki (Jämeräntaival 4). There will be entertaining activities and wappu atmosphere without forgetting the traditional wappu foods and drinks. Live music is performed by several bands from SRO Musalinja. Come celebrate teekkariwappu in good company! At midnight, technical students will put on their caps after the singing of the teekkari hymn.

The event is free and organized by the Guild of the Cross. While the primary language of the event is Finnish, all integral content and instructions are also provided in English.

Want to avoid traffic crowds on Wappu day and enjoy the fresh sea breeze and great company?

Mikä mÖLkky? 

Turnauksessa pelataan mölkkyä oluen juontiin liittyvillä lisäsäännöillä, mutta aikaisempaa osaamista et tarvitse. Tapahtumaan voi osallistua myös alkoholittomana. Joukkueen koko on 3-4 pelaajaa, ja lippu sisältää haalarimerkit, alkulohkon pelien sakkojuomat, pientä naposteltavaa sekä mahtavaa oheisohjelmaa.
