Ballroom Dance Night 9.4.

Has May Day got you dancing with joy? Are your dancing feet as swift as Anna Pavlova’s, or are your dance skills as rusty as IE’s känni pipe? Come join us for a ballroom dance night on April 9th at Smökki! The evening will kick off with a dance instructor, making the event suitable even for beginners.

The doors to Smökki open at 5:30pm and the dancers’ feet are warmed up starting at 6pm with the lead of a dance teacher. At 7pm it is time to let the music take one away, as the floor is opened up to all.

Kaljakroketti

Wappu on kohta täällä, mikä voi tarkoittaa vain yhtä asiaa. Kaljakroketti, tuo urheilulajeista jaloin, tulee taas!

Kaljakrokettiturnaus järjestetään tänä vuonna sunnuntaina 27.4. Alvarin aukiolla. Suurta urheilujuhlaa ovat tavan mukaan tervetulleita viettämään kaikki kroketista sekä hyvästä seurasta nauttivat hiilhapotettujen juomien ystävät, jotka löytävät ympärilleen 4-6 hengen joukkueen. Perinteisesti taidon sijaan olennaisempaa on pitää hauskaa, joten asenne ja huumorintaju ovat aikaisempaa kokemusta tärkeämpiä. Kaljaakaan ei tarvitse juoda, vaan sen voi korvata muilla hiilihapotetuilla tölkkijuomilla.

Ilmoittautuminen

Kutsuvieraina järjestöllenne on varattu yksi joukkuepaikka kutsuvierasilmosta, jonka voi käyttää haluamanne kokoonpano järjestön jäseniä. Yli jääneet paikat lisätään suorana avoimeen ilmoittautumiskiintiöön. Kerätkää siis 4-6 hengen tiimi ja ilmottautukaa mukaan!

Osallistumismaksu on tänä vuonna 13€/joukkue. Osallistumismaksulla katetaan sakkojuomat, jatkot ja krokettivälineet, eli varsinaiset pelijuomat tulee tuoda paikalle itse.

Jos krokettitaitosi ovat vasta jalostumassa taikka päässeet ruostumaan phabuunnuttua, Höyhensarja voi olla sinua varten! Varsinkin jos nautit enemmän sääntöjen mukaisesta kuin niitä jatkuvasti rikkovasta pelistartegiasta sekä keskustelet mieluusti vastapelaajien ja tuomarien kanssa normaalilla puheäänellä, ilmottaudu tähän kevyimpään sarjaan!

Raskassarja

Jos taas olet kuluttanut enemmänkin nurmikkoa eikä kaljan kellotus hirvitä, jatka lukemista! Raskaassa sarjassa pelaajat ovat hitusen taitavampia eli kenttä on haastavampi, pelistrategiat likaisempia ja uhoaminen kovempaa. Jos olet valmis tekemään mitä vain voiton eteen, ilmoittaudu tähän sarjaan!
