🎬✨ Greetings all Data Guild Members! ✨🎬

We are extremely excited to announce Epoch (7), Data Guild’s 7th Annual Ball which will take place on 28.02.2026! 🎆🎉

The festivities begin with the cocktail at 16:30 at the CS Building Lobby, where you can connect with people and enjoy delicious snacks, setting the perfect tone for the evening 🎶

The main event will be at Saha with lots of singing, captivating performances, a buffet served by top chefs and refreshments flowing all night long 💫

We’ve organised quite many surprises along with our sponsors throughout the night 👀

Afterwards we’ll prepare the venue for an unforgettable afterparty, rumored to feature a special appearance by a silvery band and incredible DJ ✨🎶

The next day, the sillis at OK20 Big Side offers a chance to rest, rejuvenate, and relive the magic after a long night of celebration 🥞

TTE Fund (TTER), established in 2006, supports projects, events, acquisitions, and other activities of Aalto University students, associations, and communities operating in connection with AYY. The TTE Fund’s objective is to support and encourage student activities in the Aalto community in all their forms.

17.2 Laskiaisrieha / Gravitaatio

Laskiaisrieha and the world’s craziest academic downhill race are here again! ❄️🎿🛷

On Shrove Tuesday, it’s time to gather at Ullanlinnanmäki to celebrate the traditional Laskiaisrieha sledding festival. Throughout the lively afternoon, the hill fills with sleds, toboggans, sliders, and the students steering.

In addition to sledding, there will be music, competitions, and other entertainment. The day is crowned by the legendary ABB’s Academic Downhill Race, where teams compete with increasingly spectacular structures for the championship in academic downhill racing. In recent years, Ullanlinnanmäki’s historic descent stadium has seen volcanos, UFOs, hot tubs, and even descents from bottom to top!

After an amazing afternoon of sledding, the party continues with Laskiaisappro pub crawl. Slalom through downtown Helsinki touring bars all the way to the AYY’s Gravitaatio! MEGASKABA ‘26 🏃‍♂️💨

The biggest, grandest, and sportiest – Megaskaba is here!
Lock in, hop on and help DG win!

February is knocking on the door, and that means Megaskaba. We’re talking about an epic inter-guild kilometer challenge with a record-breaking 11 guilds competing to see who is the sportiest community in Aalto! 🏆🔥

You don’t need to be a marathon runner to join, as the collective effort of the whole guild is what counts. Points are scaled to the size of the guild, so every kilometer is vital. Whether it’s a ski trip, biking to lectures, or a Sunday walk, it’s time to activate the whole guild room and bring the points home! 🚶‍♂️⛷🚲

During the month, there will be two bigger events as well as low-threshold group exercise sessions. Stay tuned! 💪

The stakes: free victory sparkling wine at Wappusitsit, paid for by the losing guilds. 🍾 Individual prizes are also up for grabs…🎁
