The Wappu ferry organized by Jäynä will take you straight from Otaranta to Ullanlinnanmäki and back! Just hop on board and admire the Baltic Sea views and festive wappu atmosphere ☀️

29.4 Tour de Walpuri
The free checkpoint crawl Tour de Walpuri arrives to shock, inspire and unite the whole Otaniemi community on the Eve of Wappu Eve! 🥳🥂 The crawl starts from Alvari Square at 20.00, and lasts until midnight. 🪩
The winners of Tour de Walpuri are announced the next day at the Declaration of Wappu Rowdiness – the best team from both the participants and the checkpoint organizers will be awarded! 🤩
The overall patch can be bought in advance from here! 🕺
You can still sign yourself and your friends up as checkpoint hosts via the link until April 19th!

Wappu is approaching – and it’s time once again to declare Wappu Rowdiness! 🦊💫
The Campus Section invites all enthusiastic celebrants to gather in front of Servin mökki on Wappu Eve, April 30, to watch the traditional declaration from 12 PM to 2 PM. You don’t want to miss this!

3.5 Village Cleanup
After all the celebrations, it’s time to clean up the Wappu mess in our beloved Teekkari Village at the traditional Village Cleanup on Sunday 3.5. 🦊 Participants will be provided with cleaning equipment and food and drinks, and the day will end with an afterparty at Rantsu with a sauna and hot tub! 🛁
The participating association with the most cleaning hours will win a free AYY venue booking, and the most active individuals can participate in a raffle to win tickets to Alvarin Kesäjuhla festival 🔥

12.5 Tour de Terde
🏖 Tour de Terde is coming again 🏖
Are you ready to kick off the terrace season? Do you want to bring your student cap out after Wappu? ☀️
Now you can, at a student-friendly price, when Tour de Terde terrace pub crawl takes over the Helsinki bars and cafés on May 12th 🍸
Along the way, you can enjoy both coffee and stronger refreshments in the after-work atmosphere, as departure times are between 3 pm and 6 pm. The afterparty starts at 9 pm at Helsinki Camping, where, in addition to partying, you can sing karaoke and play minigolf! ⛳️

3. Aalto, studies, and work opportunities
Students arrange fundraiser to tackle youth loneliness
Aalto University Student Union’s (AYY) Fuksi Committee and International Committee are raising funds to help reduce loneliness among young people. The funds raised will be directed to HelsinkiMissio. The fundraising is ongoing until 2 May 2026.

If you missed the first call for teaching assistants for autumn 2026 courses, no worries! There are still some courses open for applications. See the courses and descriptions of the tasks here.
